Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend getaway
Comfortable room, convenient location, with a fantastic view of the iconic Colosseum just steps away, and the friendly staff were always ready to assist with recommendations for local eateries.
Nothing, it was perfect.

I was almost going to give a good review, but the staff were blunt and the stairs were SO old, i nearly fell every time. I cannot believe they didn't offer me a complimentary upgrade, especially considering the showers were small and broken! Woeful overall experience at royal rooms, very disappointing indeed.

Colosseum view, adjoining gladiator training grounds, proximity to great restaurants
It's a pain lugging bags up those stairs!!! The bar crowd is way too loud late at night, hardly ideal for early risers or families needing some quiet time!!!

Royal rooms had helpful staff and was very close to all public transport. The view of the colosseum from our room was fantastic. The location couldn't be better for exploring the city on foot.
the internet was annoyingly slow.

Perfect spot for colosseum lovers!
Such a cute place! Stepping out and seeing the Colosseum right there was unreal. Our room was chill and comfy with a nice clean vibe. Plus, the gelato around the corner was a lifesaver! Just a heads up, the walls were a bit thin, so I could hear the late-night bar crowd sometimes.
